Audio and video repairs at SerTech work like this:
First bring your electronic items to our shop

along with cash or credit card for each diagnostic/check-out fee:
$30 for most items, $75 for flat-screen TVs
(LCD, DLP, Plasma, etc)
SerTech will provide service receipts for each item
and a receipt for the total diagnostic fees.
After the diagnostics are done, SerTech will call you with an
estimate for each item and ask you to approve or decline the repairs.
The lead-time for diagnostics are often 3–10 business days
depending on the workload from all recent customers.
If you approve the repairs:

The initial $30 (or $75) from those items will be applied to
the total repair cost
•
You can pick-up your repaired item(s) in roughly 1-4 business days later;
•
the lead-time can be longer if parts have to be ordered and shipped.
If you do not want the repairs done:

You can pick up your items ASAP –or–
•
SerTech can recycle or discard most items for you
